HP won't look into this. Even if they could, they wouldn't/couldn't fix it. They don't make chipsets or boards. This issue has existed for 10+ years with various technology, including RAID controllers. Generic drivers work during the live session, but those don't get installed to Windows, you have to install them after the fact. UNLESS, you use a deployment method that installs drivers during the restore process. Cristie Baremetal Recovery supports this, I'm sure others do too.
